How much does a service visit cost?

We charge a flat rate for the first 45 minutes and an additional fee for every 20 minutes thereafter if necessary. About 90% of our service calls are completed for the initial 45 minute flat rate charge. On occasion, we charge a lesser amount for a “diagnosis only” call when the customer and technician determine that the appliance is too costly or too old to repair. We then credit this lesser charge toward the purchase of a new appliance from Antone’s for a limited time. (Call for current service rates).


How do I schedule a service appointment?

We only schedule appointments by phone. Call us at 510-533-4443. We often receive service requests by email and most are missing key information. Plus, we have to find out when you will be home, etc.


What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept checks, cash, debit and credit cards which include Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We process these on the spot with a secure encrypted device that meets the latest standards for accepting credit cards.


What brands does Antone’s service?

Please see the list of appliances and brands serviced on the Appliance Service page. It is also helpful to have the appliance model number when you call for service.


What is your service area?

Please see the list of cities serviced on the Appliance Service page. On occasion we will service cities outside of our listed service area by special request. 


What days and times do you provide service?

We work Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. We can make late service calls after 5 pm by request also. 


What is the length of your appointment window?

The first job is usually only a 1 hour appointment window and after that the appointments are usually 1 ½ to 2 hour windows. We also can phone you to tell you “we are on the way” so you can come home to meet us. We try to accommodate the customer’s schedule as best as possible. 


Who will be coming to my home or business?

The owner, Robert Antone, will be the technician and/or delivery person in most cases. As a condition of being an authorized Whirlpool and Maytag service company, we were required to pass a background check and drug screening. All authorized companies nationwide are required to pass this screening.


What should I do after I schedule the service appointment and before the technician arrives?

Writing down the day and time Antone’s is scheduled to be there is probably the most important thing to remember! Call us if you are unsure. 


Does Antone’s sell appliances?

Yes. We sell appliances as listed on the Appliance Sales page. Please call us for a quote. 


Are energy rebates available through Antone’s on energy efficient appliances?

Yes. These rebates come from the utility companies. We provide you with the forms and help you complete them when we deliver your new appliance. A current source for appliance rebates is www.waterenergysavings.com.
